About the Workshop

Why do we lose our sense of safety so quickly… and how do we find our way back?

Sometimes the way home begins with the smallest glimmers - those brief moments of ease or connection that remind the nervous system it’s safe.

Deb Dana will help us explore how the nervous system shapes our sense of safety, connection, and regulation in recovery.

In this presentation, we'll explore how the nervous system measures safety and danger through the process of neuroception. Deb will help unpack how this internal “equation” shapes our reactions and recovery journeys. You'll learn to identify your personal cues of safety and danger, notice signs of dysregulation, and explore practices that help your nervous system return to regulation.
