Frequently Asked Questions
The questions people ask most often, answered honestly. And if there's something we haven't covered, we're always happy to hear from you.
-
Recovery Reimagined is a global online community for emotional healing and growth in addiction recovery. We bring together leading voices in trauma and recovery, and we're led by people in recovery themselves. There's no program or label you need to identify with.
-
No. We're not a 12-step program and we don't replace one. Many of our members are in 12-step recovery, others aren't. We widen the lens with trauma-informed perspectives, Internal Family Systems (IFS), attachment work, nervous system education, somatic practices, and a spiritual dimension, alongside whatever path you're already on.
-
Our Open Community Gatherings are open access, made possible by member donations, so cost is never a barrier. Our Extended Learning Workshops are deeper, multi-session programs that help sustain our work, with sliding-scale options and scholarships available so anyone can take part.
-
Whether you're newly sober, years into recovery, or still figuring out what recovery means for you, you're welcome. Many people find us because something isn't working anymore and they're looking for support to move forward.
-
For now, everything happens online, so it doesn't matter where you are in the world. We meet almost every week, and we may add in-person events in the future.

How It Works
What We're About
-
It's the capacity to live with balance, resilience, and integrity, whether or not life feels easy. It goes beyond not drinking or using, and speaks to how we relate to ourselves, others, and life.
Put simply: the freedom to feel, the courage to stay present, and the strength to live from your true self rather than old wounds.
-
No. We complement professional support, we don't replace it. We're a peer community that strengthens the recovery work you're already doing, offering tools and connection many of us wished we'd had earlier.
-
Experienced practitioners, many of whom are in recovery themselves. They bring professional training and lived understanding, which is the heart of what we do.
